Awesome Meets is one-to-one networking in Helsinki: it introduces you to someone new from your field for a real conversation. It comes from the people who built The Awesome Marketers community.
Why Awesome Meets exists
For years we've preached that networking is everything. After talking to so many of you, I wanna make it actually happen: in person, over food, with people you'd never bump into otherwise.

So that's what this is. You fill in a short form, I match you with 1 or 2 people, and you meet over lunch, an after-work coffee or a walk.
Round one was Awesome Autumn Meets, for marketers from the community: 40 signed up for October 2026. Awesome Meets itself is not only for marketers.
The Awesome Marketers
The Awesome Marketers is an English-speaking marketing community based in Finland, founded by Anna Pogrebniak in Helsinki in 2019. As of 2026, the community has grown to over 1,823 members. Most are marketers living and working in Finland, and many originally moved here from other countries.
The community runs on Slack and is organised entirely by volunteers. Members share job openings, ask for advice, and help each other with things like salary negotiation, freelancing, and finding their way in the Finnish job market. The community also runs events in Helsinki: afterworks, webinars and meetups.

Who runs Awesome Meets
Me, Anna Pogrebniak. I read every sign-up and put the matches together myself, with help from Claude, an AI assistant. When you email Awesome Meets, you're emailing me.
A little about me: I'm a fractional growth marketer. I've spent 11 years in B2B SaaS marketing, and these days I join software companies part-time to build and run their marketing. In 2019 I founded The Awesome Marketers in Helsinki, and Awesome Meets is the newest thing to grow out of it. My own work lives at awesomemarketer.fi.

What is Awesome Meets?
Awesome Meets is one-to-one networking in Helsinki. You tell us about your interests, your industry and your profession, we introduce you to someone new from your field, and the two of you meet in person over lunch, coffee or a walk.
How does Awesome Meets work?
There are four steps. You fill in a short form about yourself. Every person in the community is reviewed before they are matched. We match you with someone you have something in common with, never at random. Then the two of you meet in person.
Who is Awesome Meets for?
Awesome Meets is for people working in or around Helsinki who want to meet someone from their field who isn't a colleague. Round one, in October 2026, was for marketers from The Awesome Marketers community.
Where does Awesome Meets run?
Awesome Meets runs only in Helsinki for now. If you live somewhere else, you can join the waitlist for another city on the homepage, and we will tell you if Awesome Meets comes to where you live.
When is the next round of Awesome Meets?
Round one took place in October 2026 and is full: 40 people joined. The next round is planned for November 2026. Join the waitlist for November and you will be the first to know when it opens.
Who runs Awesome Meets?
Awesome Meets is run by Anna Pogrebniak, founder of The Awesome Marketers, an English-speaking marketing community founded in Helsinki in 2019.
What happens to my data at Awesome Meets?
Only Anna can open your answers. Your match sees your name, your job, your LinkedIn profile and what the two of you have in common. Your details are used for matching and nothing else, and they are deleted within 12 months, or sooner if you ask. The full version is in the data policy.
